Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kochi

Arrival at Kochi International Airport. After immigration, baggage collection and customs, Tamarind Global representative will meet you at the EXIT of ARRIVAL TERMINAL building and transfer you to your hotel. Check-in time is 1400 hrs.

Kochi is a captivating city on the south-western coast of India, known for its rich history, diverse culture, beaches, backwaters and historical landmarks like Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace and St. Francis Church.

Day 02: Kochi

• Visit the Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace)
• Visit Jewish Synagogue
• Visit St. Francis Church
• Visit Santa Cruz Basilica
• Chinese fishing nets
• Visit Spice Market & Jew Street
• Evening Kathakali dance performance

Following breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of Kochi including heritage landmarks, Fort Kochi area and traditional Kathakali dance performance in the evening.

Day 03: Kochi – Thekkady

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Approx. 140 Kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival, check in at the hotel. Thekkady is home to the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and lush spice plantations.

Day 04: Thekkady

Early morning guided trek in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (Children below 12 years not allowed). Return to hotel for breakfast. Later enjoy a Spice Plantation tour.

Day 05: Thekkady – Alleppey

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Approx. 137 Kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival, board your overnight houseboat and enjoy the serene backwaters experience.

Day 06: Alleppey – Marari

Disembark the houseboat after breakfast and drive to Marari (Approx. 13 Kms / 28 Mins). Marari Beach is known for its golden sands and tranquil atmosphere.

Day 07 & Day 08: Marari

Leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at leisure enjoying beachside relaxation.

Day 09: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Kochi International Airport for onward destination. Assistance will be provided by our representative.
